APPSC Group 1 Mains Exams to Begin Tomorrow (May 3)
The APPSC Group 1 Mains Exams are scheduled to begin tomorrow, May 3. The exams will take place at 13 centers across 4 districts. The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has completed all the necessary preparations for the exams.
The Group 1 Service recruitment notification was released in 2023, and the preliminary exams have already been completed. Now, the Mains exams are set to start tomorrow. The exams will be conducted in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati, and Anantapur with nearly 4,496 candidates expected to attend. Out of these, 1,190 candidates will appear in Visakhapatnam, 1,801 in Vijayawada, 911 in Tirupati, and 594 in Anantapur. The APPSC Secretary P. Rajababu announced the details on May 1.
The Group 1 Mains exams will take place from May 3 to 9. The exams will be held daily from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam halls until the exam time ends. The District Collectors of the four districts will supervise the exams. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centers between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM. Late arrivals will be allowed up to 9:45 AM, provided they show valid reasons. Candidates must bring their Hall Ticket and a government ID card with them.
Like the previous Group 1 exams, the question papers will be provided through tablets. Candidates will write their answers in the booklets provided by the invigilators. Only black or blue ballpoint pens will be allowed to write answers. Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets will not be allowed in the exam centers.
