Why Nassar Broke Down in Tears After Listening to the Script of ‘Tanvi the Great’

Mumbai, May 12: Veteran actor Nassar was moved to tears after hearing the script of Tanvi the Great, an upcoming film directed by Anupam Kher.

Anupam Kher recently shared that Nassar was so emotionally touched by the story that he couldn’t hold back his tears, showcasing how powerful the film is going to be. On Monday, Kher posted the first-look poster of Nassar as Brig. Rao, along with a heartfelt note praising Nassar’s incredible acting career. Kher expressed that Nassar's long list of iconic roles in films like Thevar Magan, Bombay, Nayakan, and Baahubali made him the ideal choice for this role.

Kher also shared that he had always envisioned Nassar in the role of Brig. Rao and that Nassar agreed to take part in the film without even hearing the full script. “It was only when I started shooting with him that I narrated the full details of his character, and that’s when I saw tears in his eyes,” Kher wrote. He went on to praise Nassar for his generosity, professionalism, and brilliant performance on set. Tanvi the Great also stars Iain Glen, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, Pallavi Joshi, and newcomer Shubhangi in the lead role. Directed by Anupam Kher and with music by Oscar-winning M.M. Keeravani, the film is produced by Kher Studios and NFDC in collaboration with Lower Middle Class Corporation. The official release date will be announced soon.
