“Viratapalem: PC Meena Reporting” is a Telugu thriller web series now streaming on ZEE5. Set in the 1980s, it blends mystery, rural suspense, and supernatural elements. The series follows Constable Meena (played by Abhignya), who is transferred to a strange village named Viratapalem, where mysterious deaths are happening.

The villagers believe the village is cursed – every time someone marries, the bride dies. Meena starts to investigate after a girl named Malli dies mysteriously. With help from a tea shop boy, Kittu, she uncovers hidden secrets. The story moves with suspense and twists, making the viewers curious till the end.

The rural backdrop is captured well, and the music by Mihiraamsh adds depth. Direction by Poluru Krishna is decent, though a few scenes feel artificial. Performances, especially by Abhignya, are realistic. The editing is sharp, and the screenplay keeps you engaged. While it has a few flaws, Viratapalem is a unique Telugu web series worth watching for thriller lovers.
