Free Sculpture Training Courses by TTD—Admissions Open for 2025–26

Sri Venkateswara Traditional Sculpture Training Institute (SVTSTI), under the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), is inviting applications for free training courses aimed at preserving the ancient Indian temple architecture and sculpture traditions.

Key Highlights:

Free training in temple construction and sculpture arts
Minimum qualification: Pass in 10th standard
Free accommodation and meals provided to all students
After course completion, students receive ₹1 lakh incentive
Admissions for academic year 2025–26 open till June 20, 2025

Courses Offered:

1. Diploma in Traditional Sculpture (4 Years)

Approved by AICTE and State Board of Technical Education
Six Specializations:

Temple Architecture
Stone Sculpture
Stucco (Mud/Clay) Sculpture
Metal Sculpture
Wood Sculpture

Traditional Painting

10 seats in each specialization – Total 60 seats per year

2. Kalamkari Certificate Course (2 Years)

Training in traditional textile painting art
10 seats per year
Minimum qualification: 10th standard

Free lodging and meals during the entire course duration
Final year diploma students will be taken on educational tours to historic South Indian temples
Excellent career opportunities in sculpture, especially for stone sculpture students
Self-employment opportunities for Kalamkari students— the art is popular in India and abroad
