NRI Andhra devotees will now get 100 VIP Break Darshan tickets every day at Tirumala. In the previous government, this quota was reduced from 50 to just 10 tickets, causing difficulties for Telugu people visiting from abroad.
The APNRT (Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society) brought this issue to the attention of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in February under the leadership of APNRT President Ravi Vemuri. After understanding the concerns, the Chief Minister has now increased the VIP darshan quota from 10 to 100 tickets per day for Pravasa Andhras and directed TTD officials to implement the same.
To get these tickets, NRIs must register for free membership on the APNRTS website: https://apnrts.ap.gov.in. During registration, they need to provide visa and work permit details of the country they live in. The website shows darshan slots for the next three months, and eligible users can book their slot. Based on availability, TTD will allocate tickets. Those who receive tickets will be guided through the darshan by an APNRTS PRO. For more details, devotees can visit the website or contact the APNRTS office at Tadepalli via phone: 0863 2340678.
