Nani’s The Paradise is continuing to attract audiences in its second weekend, despite receiving negative reports since its theatrical release. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film has drawn attention to one particular song in its second half, which some viewers felt did not fit naturally into the sequence.
The song appears during a crucial portion of the story, when the protagonist and his gang are attempting to establish a new country for themselves. However, the English song used in the scene reportedly failed to create the intended emotional impact.
Speaking in a recent interview with lyricist Kasarla Shyam, director Srikanth Odela revealed that he is considering a change for the film’s Netflix version. According to Odela, the OTT release is likely to include a new Telugu song in place of the existing track.
Odela said he plans to approach music composer Anirudh to work on the new song. His intention is to ensure that the replacement track better communicates the emotional depth he originally wanted to bring out in the sequence.
The director’s comments suggest that the Netflix version of The Paradise could offer a slightly different musical treatment compared with the theatrical release. However, the information provided does not confirm the exact release date of the OTT version or whether any other changes will be made to the film.
Lyricist Kasarla Shyam also agreed with Odela’s view during the discussion. He felt that a Telugu song could connect more effectively with the scene and deliver the emotional impact that was intended.
With The Paradise continuing its theatrical run into the second weekend, the reported change has now become an interesting point for audiences waiting for its Netflix release. If the new Telugu track is added as planned, viewers will be able to see how the revised song works within the film’s key sequence.
For now, Srikanth Odela’s comments indicate that the The Paradise OTT version is being considered with a Telugu song designed specifically to strengthen the emotional impact of the scene.
