The Telangana government has issued a recruitment notification to fill 1,623 vacant posts in government hospitals across the state. This includes 1,616 Civil Assistant Surgeon posts in Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (TVVP) hospitals and 7 posts in RTC hospitals. Eligible doctors can apply online. The application process will begin on September 8 and will close on October 22.

The recruitment will be carried out zone-wise, with 858 vacancies in Multi-Zone 1 and 765 vacancies in Multi-Zone 2. Officials also announced that doctors already working on a contract basis will be given 20 additional points in the selection process.
