Traffic Restrictions in Visakhapatnam Due to Simhachalam Giri Pradakshina
Visakhapatnam City Police Commissioner Shankha Brata Bagchi announced that traffic restrictions will be in force in the city till 5 PM tomorrow (Thursday) due to the annual Simhachalam Giri Pradakshina festival of Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple.
Key Traffic Restrictions:

No vehicle entry between Adavivaram and Gopalapatnam Petrol Bunk from today 6 AM

Special parking arrangements have been made for devotees

Heavy vehicles banned from entering the city; diversions are in place

Details of Restrictions:

Devotees coming from Adavivaram side must park vehicles at Adavivaram Junction and walk towards the temple route.

Those arriving from Vepagunta and Gopalapatnam must park their vehicles at Simhapuram Colony, where temporary parking lots are arranged.

Only one-way traffic from Sattaravuru Junction to Adavivaram is allowed. No vehicles are permitted to travel towards Hanumanthawaka from this route.

Vehicles are also not allowed from Gopalapatnam Petrol Bunk towards Old Goshala Junction.
Restrictions on Heavy Vehicles:

No heavy vehicles allowed from Pendurthi and NAD Junction towards Gopalapatnam.

Vehicles entering the city from Anakapalle are being diverted at Lankelapalem Junction towards Sabbavaram.
Police have advised commuters to plan their travel accordingly and support the traffic diversions during this spiritual event.
