Ravi Mohan Begins Dubbing for Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Parasakthi’, Set for Pongal Release
Chennai, Nov 11: The makers of director Sudha Kongara’s highly-anticipated period drama ‘Parasakthi’, starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, have revealed that actor Ravi Mohan, who plays the antagonist, has begun dubbing for his portions.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the production banner Dawn Pictures wrote: “When the voice roars, the screen will rise. @iam_RaviMohan starts dubbing for #Parasakthi — coming to cinemas this Pongal.” Along with this announcement, the team shared a short video clip of Ravi Mohan recording his lines.
The film recently wrapped up its shooting on October 21, with major portions completed across Madurai, Sri Lanka, and Pollachi. During the Pollachi schedule, which began on July 18, some of the film’s key sequences were shot, while Sivakarthikeyan joined a bit later.
‘Parasakthi’ is said to be a 1960s period drama set in Madras State, featuring Atharvaa and Sreeleela in pivotal roles. The teaser hints that Sivakarthikeyan plays a fearless student leader who challenges the system, while Ravi Mohan’s character is seen as a powerful rival aiming to eliminate him.
The film, which was initially referred to as #SK25, has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran, and stunts by Supreme Sundar. With its compelling theme and strong cast, Parasakthi is all set to make waves this Pongal 2026.
