Pakistan's Information Minister Warns of Potential Indian Military Action Within 36 Hours

Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. In a significant statement, Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar claimed that India is preparing for a military strike against Pakistan within the next 24 to 36 hours. He stated that their intelligence agencies have received “credible information” pointing towards an imminent offensive.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently convened a high-level security meeting with the chiefs of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, where he reportedly gave the armed forces a free hand to respond to the Pahalgam attack. Tarar’s remarks have gained prominence in light of these developments.

Referring to the Pahalgam incident, Tarar stated, “We too are victims of terrorism.” He expressed willingness to support a neutral, transparent, and independent investigation. However, he alleged that India appears poised for military action despite Pakistan's cooperation. He further warned that any military aggression by India would be met with a strong response from Pakistan.
