Mythri Movie Makers has announced a new-age romantic comedy featuring Jai Jasti and Medha Meka, daughter of actor Srikanth, as the lead pair. Tentatively titled MythriInLove, the upcoming film brings together fresh talent for a story that combines romance, humour and family drama.
Following the success of Uppena, the production house is returning to the romantic genre with a project that aims to explore the unusual dynamics of a relationship between a young man and a woman. The film is expected to blend relatable emotions with entertaining situations, offering a contemporary take on romance and relationships.
Prithvi Vanam is making his feature-film directorial debut with this project. He previously gained recognition for directing popular web series, including 30 Weds 21 and Middle Bench Ravi. The upcoming romantic comedy marks his transition to the big screen.
The film's music will be composed by Sai Harsha, son of popular lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry. With a new lead pair and a team bringing experience from different areas of the entertainment industry, the project introduces a fresh combination of talent.
The movie was officially launched with a pooja ceremony on October 12, marking the start of its production journey. MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao handed over the script to the makers during the event. Producer Sahu Garapati and Archana switched on the camera, while filmmaker Nandini Reddy sounded the clapboard. Sowmya Yerneni directed the first shot.
Director Mahesh Babu P, known for Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty and Andhra King Taluka, is associated with the film as its creator. His involvement adds another notable name to the creative team behind the upcoming entertainer.
The makers have yet to reveal the film's final title and additional details. Until then, MythriInLove remains the tentative name for the project.
With Medha Meka stepping into a leading role alongside Jai Jasti, the film marks an important beginning for its young cast and director. Further announcements are expected to provide more information about the title and other aspects of the production.
