The Pallavotsavam of Lord Venkateswara was celebrated grandly in Tirumala yesterday. This special event is traditionally conducted by TTD on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Mysore Maharaja.

After the Sahasra Deepalankara Seva, Lord Malayappa Swamy along with Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi were taken in a procession to the Karnataka Choultry (Sathram).

There, representatives of the Mysore royal family welcomed the deities with devotion. They offered special harathi and hospitality. Mysore Queen Pramoda Devi honored TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu by presenting a memento on behalf of the royal family.

The event was attended by Mysore Maharaja Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, TTD board members Naresh, Janga Krishnamurthy, and others.
