New Parking Technology Introduced at Hyderabad's KBR Park

New Multi-Level Parking Facility with Modern Technology at KBR Park
A new multi-level parking system has been introduced near KBR Park in Hyderabad to reduce parking issues in the area. This smart facility can accommodate up to 72 cars at once and has been built using Korean technology on a 400-square-yard space. After a 10-day trial run, it will be fully open to the public.

KBR Park experiences heavy traffic, especially during morning and evening hours when many people come for walking. Due to limited parking space, visitors face difficulty in finding spots. To solve this problem, GHMC has set up this new automated parking structure using modern technology.

The project cost is estimated at ₹6 crores, and officials hope it will ease traffic and parking problems in areas like Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills. If this model is successful, the GHMC plans to install similar multi-level parking systems in other busy parts of the city to manage urban traffic better.
