Mumbai, Oct 31: Several big names from Bollywood and South Indian cinema lauded Team India Women for storming into the Women’s World Cup 2025 Final after a historic win against defending champions Australia.

Kareena Kapoor shared on social media, “And like I said, girls can do it all. With grit and determination... Well done, Team India... on the finals, my girls.”

She uploaded a photo of Jemimah Rodrigues and wrote, “Take a bow, fantabulous Jemimah @jemimahrodrigues.”

Manoj Bajpayee wrote, “Kamaal kar diya! Into the finals! Pure heart, grit, and class from our women in blue. Chasing 339, the highest in women’s ODI history. Hats off to the entire team and especially Jemimah for that calm century under pressure.”

Varun Dhawan called Jemimah his “hero” on Instagram Stories.

Rishab Shetty tweeted, “What a moment for India! Our women’s team @BCCIWomen storms into the ICC #WomensWorldCup2025 Final with a thrilling win over Australia! Take a bow, @JemiRodrigues, that century was pure class!”

After the thrilling victory over Australia, India will now face South Africa in the Women’s World Cup Final on Sunday.
