Tollywood Star Jr NTR Puts Bollywood Project on Hold, Focuses on Telugu Biggies Dragon and Devara 2
Tollywood superstar Jr NTR, who made his Bollywood debut earlier this year with Aditya Chopra’s spy thriller War 2, has reportedly put his next Hindi film with Yash Raj Films on hold.
After the success of War 2, fans were excited when reports revealed that NTR had signed a multi-film deal with the prestigious banner. Industry buzz suggested that he would soon lead a big solo project under YRF. However, fresh reports confirm that the project is temporarily postponed.
According to sources, the RRR star himself decided to delay the Bollywood venture to prioritize his Telugu films — director Prashanth Neel’s Dragon (slated for release on June 25, 2026) and Koratala Siva’s Devara 2. Both films are among the most-awaited projects in Tollywood, and NTR wants to dedicate his full focus to their shooting schedules and promotions.
With a packed schedule until at least mid-2026, Jr NTR has little time for Bollywood commitments. Reports suggest that he may revisit his Hindi film plans depending on the nationwide response to Dragon and Devara 2.
