Indian Navy Recruitment 2025 – Notification for 1,266 Tradesman Skilled Posts

The Indian Navy, under the Ministry of Defence, has released a notification for the recruitment of Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Industrial – Tradesman Skilled posts. A total of 1,266 vacancies will be filled under this notification. However, these posts are open only for Ex-Naval Apprentice candidates who have completed training in various units of the Indian Navy’s Yard Apprentice Schools.

Eligible candidates applying for Tradesman Skilled (Ex-Naval Apprentice) posts must have completed apprentice training in one of the trades such as Civil Works, Electrical, Electronics & Gyro, Foundry, Heat Engine, Instrument, Machine, etc., and hold a valid certificate. Candidates should also have passed the 10th standard and be aged between 18 to 25 years.

The application process will be conducted online, and interested candidates can apply until September 2, 2025. The selection process will include shortlisting, a written test, a trade test, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a salary in the range of ₹19,000 to ₹63,200 plus allowances.
