The trailer of Garividi Lakshmi has been released ahead of the film’s theatrical arrival on October 17. The biographical drama stars Anandhi in the titular role and is based on the life of Uttarandhra folk singer Garividi Lakshmi.

The trailer gives a glimpse into the different stages of Garividi Lakshmi’s life, focusing on her journey as a folk artist and the challenges she encountered along the way. It shows how she became part of a burra katha troupe and gradually gained recognition among the people.

As her popularity grows, the story also takes a difficult turn. The trailer indicates that Garividi Lakshmi later faces problems after being attracted by promises of opportunities in films. Her journey appears to involve not only success and recognition but also betrayal, hardship and difficult personal experiences.

Anandhi appears convincing in the lead role, bringing an emotional and grounded quality to the character. Her performance seems to be one of the key elements of the film, particularly as the story moves between the highs and lows of the folk singer’s life.

The Garividi Lakshmi trailer also highlights the film’s rooted setting and emotional storytelling. Music plays an important role in establishing the atmosphere, with Charan Arjun composing the tunes for the project.

Directed by Gowri Naidu Jammu, the film aims to present the inspiring journey of a folk artist on the big screen. The story appears to focus on Garividi Lakshmi’s rise as a performer while also portraying the struggles and setbacks she experienced during her journey.
