Cognizant to Set Up IT Campus in Visakhapatnam – 8,000 Jobs Expected

Visakhapatnam is set to take a big step in the IT sector. Leading tech company Cognizant has officially announced that it will build a new IT campus in the city. This decision is expected to create thousands of jobs for skilled professionals in Andhra Pradesh.

Cognizant has chosen Kapuluppada in Visakhapatnam for this expansion. The new campus will be developed over 22 acres with modern facilities. According to a post from the company’s official X (Twitter) handle, the campus will focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Transformation services.

The company plans to begin operations from this new facility by 2026. Cognizant has thanked Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh for their support in making this project possible. Experts say this development will boost Visakhapatnam’s growth as an IT hub and provide more job opportunities for local youth.
