Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 to Begin from September 7 – Double House Concept Announced

The much-awaited Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 is officially set to begin on September 7, with Akkineni Nagarjuna returning once again as the host. This season comes with a brand-new theme – “Celebrities vs Commoners”, and for the first time in Telugu television history, the show will feature two Bigg Boss houses instead of one, promising double the drama and entertainment.

The recently released promo shows Nagarjuna announcing “Double House – Double Dose”, raising huge excitement among fans. One house will accommodate celebrities, while the other will be for common people. After successfully completing eight seasons, the makers are all set to experiment with this fresh format.

To select common contestants, the makers conducted a special pre-show named “Agni Pariksha”. Out of thousands of applicants, 40 participants were shortlisted and given tough tasks. Finally, only three top performers will enter the Bigg Boss house. This selection process was judged by Abhijeet, Bindu Madhavi, and Navdeep.

Although the official list of contestants has not yet been revealed, strong buzz suggests names like Sai Kiran, Chatrapathi Sekhar, Emmanuel, Sumanth Ashwin, Ritu Chowdhary, and Anil (My Village Show) may be part of the show. With this exciting new format, fans are expecting double the fun, drama, and entertainment.
