PPSC Prepares to Fill 80 Vacancies Across Departments
- 20 new job notifications to be released by the end of this month

Good news for unemployed youth in Andhra Pradesh! The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced that it will soon release 20 new notifications to fill around 80 vacancies in various state government departments.
Speaking at a press meet in Vijayawada on Monday, APPSC Secretary P. Rajababu said the commission is preparing to release the notifications by the end of this month. Since the number of posts is limited, the commission is considering conducting a single combined examination for all the vacancies.
Reason for Group-1 & Group-2 Result Delay
Addressing the much-awaited Group-1 and Group-2 results, Rajababu clarified that the delay is due to the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) not yet providing the final list of candidates under the sports quota. Once the list is received, the results will be declared immediately, he assured. He also mentioned that medical reports related to eyesight (1,634 candidates) and hearing ability (24 candidates) are pending for Group-2. Candidates were urged not to believe rumors circulating on social media.
Forest Department Exam on September 7
On the Forest Department recruitment, Rajababu said the screening test for Forest Beat Officer, Assistant Beat Officer, and Forest Section Officer posts will be held on September 7 across 287 exam centers in the state. Candidates were instructed to carefully fill details on the OMR sheets, avoid using whiteners or erasing answers, as such papers will not be considered. He further added that one negative mark will be awarded for every three wrong answers.
