The notification for AP PGCET 2025, the entrance exam for postgraduate courses in universities and affiliated colleges across Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2025-26, has been released. This year, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, is conducting the exam. The online application process started on April 2 and ended on May 5. However, the notification did not specify the exam dates.
To address this, the Higher Education Council has now released the exam schedule. According to the new schedule, the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (AP PGCET) 2025 will be held online from June 9 to June 12, in two sessions each day – morning and evening.

Around 17 universities and their affiliated postgraduate colleges across the state offer admissions to more than 150 PG courses based on ranks obtained in this entrance exam. Of the total seats available, 85% are reserved for local students as per university-wise allocation.
