Nithiin’s upcoming Telugu film Alias Rukmini is gearing up for a theatrical release on December 4, 2026. Following a challenging period at the box office, the actor is hoping to make a strong comeback with the project, which has attracted attention since its announcement, particularly because Natural Star Nani is backing the film as a producer.
The makers have now officially confirmed the release date, giving audiences a clearer idea of when they can expect to see the film in theatres. Although the release schedule has been announced, the team has maintained secrecy surrounding the actress who will portray the character of Rukmini.
The latest poster offers a glimpse of Nithiin’s appearance in the movie. Instead of presenting him in a stylish or larger-than-life avatar, the promotional material features the actor in a simple, middle-class look. This grounded presentation has added to the curiosity surrounding the film and its characters.
Nithiin and Nani Join Hands for Alias Rukmini
One of the major talking points surrounding Alias Rukmini is Nani’s involvement as a producer. His association with the project has helped draw attention to the film, which could become an important release for Nithiin as he looks to regain momentum at the box office.
Muralikanth has taken responsibility for both writing and directing the movie. Nani is producing the project alongside Deepthi Ganta, who is sharing the production responsibilities. The team brings together a combination of established names and creative talent for the upcoming Telugu film.
Vijai Bulganin Handles the Music
Music is another important element of Alias Rukmini, with Vijai Bulganin composing the film's soundtrack. The songs are expected to contribute to the movie's promotional campaign and help build audience interest as the release approaches.
However, the makers have not yet revealed further details about the film's music or its overall promotional schedule. More information is expected to emerge as the team begins releasing additional promotional material.
Actress Details Remain Under Wraps
Despite confirming the theatrical release date, the makers have not disclosed the identity of the actress playing Rukmini. This remains one of the key unanswered questions surrounding the project, keeping audiences curious about the film's casting.
Filming is reportedly progressing smoothly, and the team is expected to share more promotional updates in the coming days. These announcements could provide further glimpses of the characters, music and other aspects of the production.
With its December 4, 2026 release date officially announced, Alias Rukmini is moving closer to its theatrical arrival. For Nithiin, the film represents an opportunity to deliver a strong performance at the box office, while the involvement of Nani as producer adds another point of interest for Telugu cinema audiences.
