Vanamahotsavam Begins in Telangana – 18.03 Crore Saplings to Be Planted
The prestigious Vanamahotsavam program has officially started in Telangana with a goal of planting 18.03 crore saplings this year. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated the event on Monday in a grand ceremony, aiming to make Telangana greener and more eco-friendly.
The launch event was held at the Agricultural University in Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, where CM Revanth personally planted a sapling. Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister reminded everyone that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility. Minister Konda Surekha and other senior officials also participated in the event.
Later, CM Revanth visited the Botanical Gardens and planted a Rudraksha sapling there. He also viewed a special photo exhibition organized at the venue. The Telangana government has called on citizens to actively support and participate in making the Vanamahotsavam 2025 a grand success across the state.
