Pawan Kalyan: My Movie Ticket Was Sold for Rs 10 While Others Were Rs 100

Hyderabad, July 22:
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan has once again made strong comments against the previous YSRCP government. He said that during their rule, the ticket price for his movie was reduced to just Rs 10, while other heroes’ movie tickets were sold for Rs 100. He said his fight was never for money or fame, but for justice.

Pawan Kalyan made these remarks during the pre-release event of his upcoming movie Hari Hara Veera Mallu on Monday night. He stated that though he had failures in his career, he never gave up. “I didn’t have big directors or influence in the industry. But I had fans with love and support,” he said. He thanked director Trivikram for giving him a big hit with Jalsa and standing by him during tough times.

Speaking emotionally, he said it’s been 30 years in the film industry and even though he is aging, his passion is still strong. He remembered how his fans supported him even after the flop of Johnny, and how Gabbar Singh became a hit with Harish Shankar’s direction. Talking about Hari Hara Veera Mallu, he said this film took five years to complete and will be his first movie after becoming Deputy CM. He added that despite knowing martial arts, he had to retrain for this film and shared how facing goons in real life was easier than performing action on camera.
