OG, starring Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Power Star Pawan Kalyan, is making history at the box office. Released on September 25, 2025, the movie has collected a massive ₹308 crore worldwide within just 11 days, becoming the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2025 so far.
The production house DVV Entertainment shared the official update on X (formerly Twitter) with the line — “No rules, no laws... only ‘Law’ exists! He’s the Original Gangster.”
On its opening day, OG earned over ₹154 crore, marking the biggest opening of Pawan Kalyan’s career. Previously, Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi’s “Sankranti Ki Vastunnam” held the top spot with ₹300 crore collections, but OG surpassed that in just 11 days.
Director Sujeeth, a die-hard Pawan Kalyan fan, brought his hero’s charisma and mass appeal to life with style and intensity. His direction showcased a powerful and stylish version of Pawan Kalyan on the big screen.
Sujeeth also confirmed that both a prequel and sequel for OG are in the works. When asked about Pawan’s son Akira Nandan appearing in the prequel, Sujeeth smiled and said, “If I reveal it now, it won’t be thrilling anymore.”
