The regular shooting of the movie Mega 157, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and directed by Anil Ravipudi, started on Friday. The shoot began after Chiranjeevi’s look test at Annapurna Studios. Along with Chiranjeevi, important scenes with other main actors were also filmed.

The first shooting schedule will focus on key scenes involving Chiranjeevi and other important cast members. Actress Nayanthara has been chosen as the female lead, and the makers recently confirmed her role with a special video.

Anil Ravipudi, who made hit films like Sarileru Neekevvaru, Bhagavanth Kesari, and Sankranthiki Vachestunnam, is bringing his unique style and energy to Mega 157. The music for the film is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.

The movie is produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmitha Konidela under Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments. The team plans to finish shooting this year and release the movie during Sankranti 2026.

Meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi, who has completed his work on Vishwambhara, will work next with director Srikanth Odela after Mega 157.
