CM Chandrababu and Ministerial Team Continue Singapore Tour – Day 2 Highlights
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with a team of ministers, is currently on an official tour of Singapore. The main goal of this visit is to attract large-scale investments and bring development to Andhra Pradesh. On Day 2 (Monday), the CM and his delegation are scheduled to meet with several representatives from government and private sectors.
The day begins at 7:00 AM IST, where Chandrababu will meet Singapore's Minister of Trade and Industry Tan See Leng at the Treasury Building. They will discuss cooperation in areas like power, science, technology, and industries. At 8:30 AM, he will meet with Airbus representatives Krithivas and Venkat Katkuri, followed by a 9:00 AM meeting with Honeywell company officials.
From 9:30 to 11:00 AM, Chandrababu will attend a Business Round Table meeting focusing on the theme "Shifting from Skills to Capabilities – Accelerating Workforce Readiness". Students from top Singapore universities like NUS, NTU, SMU, and SUTD will take part. At 11:00 AM, he will meet Evervolt Chairman Mr. Simon Tan, and at 11:30 AM, visit the Singapore Sports School to explore ideas for sports development in Andhra Pradesh.
At 1:00 PM, the team will visit Tuas Port site, where they will hold a special discussion led by PSA CEO Vincent on port-based industrial growth, smart logistics, manufacturing, and export infrastructure. In the evening at 4:30 PM, Chandrababu will attend the AP–Singapore Business Forum Roadshow, where he will present the state’s development plans in front of global investors. The day ends with a 6:00 PM meeting with Adani Ports MD Karan Adani to discuss port development and investment plans.
