Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu conveyed heartfelt Rakhi Purnima greetings to the people, especially women, through social media. He described Rakhi as a festival that gives the assurance of “I am here for you,” symbolizing the bond between brothers and sisters.
In his message on ‘X’, Naidu said, “To my dear sisters of Telugu households and all beloved women, Rakhi is a special occasion that expresses the brother-sister bond and gives confidence that brothers will always protect their sisters. As a brother, I promise to bring light into your lives and ensure your safety.”
He further assured that he would work day and night for the welfare of girls and women, and once again extended his warm wishes to everyone on the occasion of Rakhi Purnima. Across Andhra Pradesh, the festival is being celebrated with joy as brothers and sisters exchange love and promises of protection.
