CAT Circuit Bench to Be Established in Vijayawada
 

The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has taken a key decision to establish a circuit bench in Vijayawada. On Friday, the CAT Chairman officially announced this development.

This circuit bench will operate under the Hyderabad bench and will be set up in Vijayawada. The bench is scheduled to be inaugurated virtually on February 17 at 11:00 AM.

All India Service officers frequently approach the tribunal for government transfer-related matters and other administrative issues. Until now, officials had to travel to Hyderabad for hearings at the Central Administrative Tribunal bench.

With the establishment of a circuit bench in Vijayawada, government employees have welcomed and appreciated the decision, as it will make legal proceedings more accessible.
