Chandrababu Naidu: Andhra Pradesh Ready to Create History with Yoga – Aiming to Break 22 Records

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the government wants to make yoga a part of every citizen’s daily life. On the occasion of International Yoga Day, the state will organize a massive yoga event called "Yogandhra", aiming to break 22 world records. CM said yoga is not related to any religion, but a science that improves health and focus.

The government plans to provide yoga training both online and offline, and also include yoga classes in schools from Class 9 onward. A new Deemed University will be started with courses in Yoga and Naturopathy, and yoga competitions will be held every year or two. CM also praised the innovation of the Yogifi AI Yoga Mat, which helps users follow correct postures using technology.

On June 21, over 2 crore people are expected to perform yoga across 1.29 lakh locations in Andhra Pradesh. In Visakhapatnam, the main Yogandhra event will be streamed live from 7 lakh places in India. This is part of a strong mission to make AP the yoga capital of India.
