Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu Meets Governor at Raj Bhavan in Vijayawada

Vijayawada, July 11:
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met Governor S. Abdul Nazeer at Raj Bhavan on Friday. The meeting was described as a courtesy visit by Raj Bhavan. During the meeting, the Chief Minister explained the government’s development activities and projects to the Governor.

This meeting is seen as important, as it comes before Naidu's upcoming visit to New Delhi. There is also news that the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet may soon be expanded. Reports suggest that actor-turned-politician Naga Babu (Nagendra Rao Konidela), brother of Deputy CM and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan, may soon join the Cabinet.

Naga Babu was elected as MLC in March without any opposition. He is the General Secretary of the Jana Sena Party and actively took part in election campaigning. CM Naidu had already announced in December that Naga Babu would be included in the Cabinet.

In another key development, CM Naidu focused on increasing GST collections in Andhra Pradesh. He told officials to stop tax evasion and asked them to use data analytics for better tracking. He said that strong GST performance will help in national development and that both Central and State teams must work together for better results.
